Accommodation

With her spacious and light filled airy accommodations, fine teak cabinetry and teak and holly sole, 6’5” headroom throughout and accommodations for up to 7 people, the Island Packet 380 provides the feeling of a much bigger yacht.

The forward owner’s cabin features a queen-sized centerline island berth with access from either side.  Ample storage can be located in the two large cedar-lined drawers under the berth, the cedar-lined hanging locker on the starboard side, and under the berth, which lifts up on gas shocks.

Aft to port in the head, with two doors granting access from both the main cabin as well as the forward cabin.  The head features a unique folding  shower stall enclosure that stows against the bulkhead when not in use.  The main salon is next aft creating a large central area for living and entertaining.  Island Packet’s signature fold-up table is stowed on the forward bulkhead.  To port is a large L-shaped settee that converts to a double berth.  To starboard is a large settee that doubles as a single berth.  Both settees feature generous storage beneath and behind. Farther aft to port is the navigation station which doubles as the yacht’s main control center.  The galley is to starboard of the companionway stairs and features a roomy but secure wrap-around counter, offering ample counter space and storage, 3-burner LPG stove with oven and 12 v top-loading refrigerator with freezer compartment. Aft to power is the large guest stateroom with a queen-sized Pullman style berth athwarship. This stateroom also features a unique hideaway sink in a pullout drawer.

Galley

Stargazer’s layout provides for a comfortable and secure wrap-around galley with plenty of counter space and ample storage for provisions, kitchenware and cutlery.  The generous U shaped galley is located to starboard as one enters the boat, offering ample workspace for meal preparations underway whilst providing easy access to both the cocput and main salon.  The large, top loading DC fridge and freezer are flush with the countertop, creating additional workspace and easy access to storage aft of the fridge designed to store plates, glasses and drawers for cutlery.

The Princess 3 burner stove and oven is gimbaled, and is located outboard along the hull.  There is a board that covers the burners when not in use, allowing for additional counter space.  Just forward of the stove and recessed in a designated area, is the Origo microwave.

Moving inboard is a large recessed storage locker, and double stainless steel sinks with the addition of a Brita Water facet for drinking water.  There is pressurized hot and cold water, as well as a manual pump.  The trash is located under the sink, and slides out in a dedicated locker.
