Accommodations

The interior of this very spacious boat is fully varnished teak with a teak and holly sole. The forward cabin consists of a 6' 6" V-berth with storage underneath, shelves above and a large cedar lined hanging closet. From this cabin you have private access to the head.

The head has a full shower, stainless sink and lots of storage. There is also more storage across from the head.

In the main cabin there are two settees that make it possible to sleep up to three additional people. One of the settees pulls out to convert to a double berth. Once again, there is plenty of storage under the settees and above. There is a hanging locker on the starboard side in the main salon and a shelving unit on the port side. The large teak dining table is able to be stowed when not in use.

On the port side, across from the galley, is the nav station which includes the electrical panel and a sizable chart table. Nearby in the quarterberth is a chart drawer. Located in the nav station, in addition to being at the helm, is a GPS display and VHF radio. The other electronics are located at the helm. Aft of the nav station is a double quarterberth which can sleep two people. The quarterberth includes storage underneath, a chart drawer, shelves above, two lockers and a small bureau. The nav station and the quarterberth can be partitioned off by a privacy curtain that encompasses the entire area.

There are reading LED lamps throughoutthe boat. The entire interior is bright and well lit. There are 11 stainless steel ports to provide more than adaquate natural light and plenty of ventilation. There are also 5 deck hatches. Screens are included with all. There is a reverse cycle A/C to both heat and/or cool if desired.

Electrical

This boat is wired for both 12 volt DC and 110 volt service. A 2000 watt inverter can provide AC power when underway. There is a hot water heater, 50'- 30 amp shore power cord, breaker panel, volt/amp meter, JULY 2019 rebuilt Balmar high output alternator, 30 amp battery charger and five (5) Group 27 marine batteries. A wonderful addition to this boat is a reverse cycle air conditioner. It can be used for both cooling and heating should you want it.

Deck

The roomy cockpit includes a full bimini cover with clear front(just replaced) and side panels, a fresh water wash down and shower, a large cockpit table that sits below a teak beverage/binocular holder that can fold down when not in use. The steering is Edson rack & pinion with an elk hide covered wheel. There is an adjustable captain's chair with a cushion well positioned for a comfortable sail.

All the exterior wood is nicely finished and well taken care of.

On deck there are five deck hatches for plenty of ventilation. The side decks are a comfortable width and coated with nonskid for safe moving either forward or aft. There is an anchor pulpit and a Sampson Lawrence manual anchor windlass. Included are two anchors - 1) 25 lb CQR with 150'chain and rode 1) 25 lb CQR with 24' chain and rode. There is also Fortress FX with chain and rope rode.

There are double, stainless steel bow rails, stern rails and life lines with gates on both the port and starboard sides. At the stern there is a stern gate, a flip down stern ladder, a dinghy engine lift and an outboard motor bracket. Included are 4 fenders, 4 docklines and a horseshoe life ring.

2021 North Sails fully battened main, New RF Yankee, New RF Staysail! The boat also has a new 2023 Faircloth winter cover. The mast is keel stepped, has aluminum spars with stainless steel wire rigging. All 5 winches are Lewmar. This boat comes with Esprit mainsail (full batt), single line reefing system, Harken staysail and genoa roller furling, Sunbrella sail cover, cruising spinnaker and new halyards and sheets in 2002. The boat has a very clean Yanmar diesel engine with a 3 blade feathering prop. The shaft size is 1" and has a set of spurs on it. This is a very clean and comfortable boat to do some enjoyable sailing in. It has been very well taken care of and offers a lot of extras to make all your excursions more memorable. 

Also notable this boat has an improved rudder shoe. IN 2022 the bottom was soda blasted and barrier coated.
