1989 Island Packet 35 Cutter

Old Saybrook, Connecticut

$79,900

May we present the most famous of the storied Island Packet 35's ever built - "Spináche"! Hull #16, she has more than 6 Bermuda race campaigns under her belt including one with the iconic creator and owner of Island Packet, Bob Johnson NA! Subsequently, this IP35 was 1st to finish in its division, and placed 2nd overall in a fleet of over 50 yachts. With wind predominately light and variable over the 750-mile course, Spináche took corrected time honors over every other production yacht racing!

She has been featured in articles and advertisements and in magazines everywhere. Her current owner bought her in 1990 from the original owner and has lovingly kept her up over the past 34 years. The amount of detailed maintenance and updates done (no, not the chain plates) overtime are too numerous to list, but will be shared with any interested parties during in-person showings. They say a picture is worth 1000 words… So feast on the 90+ photos here!

Whether you are looking for weekend getaways or a summer long cruising yacht, the legendary seaworthiness of the Island Packet 35 won't disappoint!

Hurry!! This yacht won't last! Call to make an appointment to get aboard and to start your next adventure!
