1986 Cape Dory 330

Newburyport, Massachusetts

$35,000

The Cape Dory 330 was designed by the Swedish maritime architect Carl Alberg and built by Cape Dory Yachts in Taunton, MA.  This world-renown bluewater cruiser, with her full keel, has been well-maintained and is ready for new adventures.  KOSMOPOLIT is powered by a Universal 39 hp diesel, a fully battened Main, roller furling Genoa, spinnaker pole, and cutter Jib.  She is equipped with a compass, AIS Receiver VHS (2021) with registered ship’s station (international travel), Raymarine chartplotter/radar, a Raymarine autopilot, Furuno GPS, windvane/windpilot (2021), log speedometer, depth sounder, solar panel, and battery charger.  Belowdecks is open and spacious, and comfortably sleeps 5.  The Main Salon has a teak & holly sole, teak drop-leaf dinette, convertible settee, nav station, and CD player/speakers. The Galley has twin stainless steel sinks, a refrigerator, an icebox, and a new Origo alcohol stove (2021).  There is 1 new marine head (2021) with a stainless steel sink and a separate shower.

KOSMOPOLIT’s current owner is a boatbuilder by trade.  In 2021 he replaced both main deck hatches and rigged her for windvane self-steering for coastal cruising and offshore voyagers.  The ONLY reason he is selling the boat is due to a family obligation that requires him to relocate to Europe.  Don’t miss out on this well-loved cruiser!
